Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in the Liberties in Dublin overnight.
It happened at a house in the Pimlico Gardens area of Dublin 8 just before midnight.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
A car was found partially burnt out at Old Church Way in Clondalkin around half an hour later.
Gardai are asking any road users with video footage who were in the Pimlico Gardens/Ardee Street area between 11:30 and midnight to come forward.
