Gardaí in Dublin have arrested 8 young people following the seizure of scramblers, quadbikes and drugs in Ballyfermot.
The search was carried out as part of an ongoing operation into the dangerous and reckless use of scramblers in the area.
Gardaí conducted a number of searches in the Ballyfermot area this morning, resulting in the seizure of a scrambler, two quad bike, 2 e-bikes and heroin with an approximate street value of €3,000.

At around 9am this morning, Gardaí carried out a search of nine properties near the Cherry Orchard Grove in Ballyfermot, County Dublin.
They seized a scrambler, two quad bikes, two e-bikes and heroin with an street value of €3,000.
Eight people in their teens and twenties were arrested in connection with the seize.
Four people appeared before the Courts of Criminal Justice while one person was brought before the juvenile courts.
The operation follows on from from an incident involving scramblers in September in which a one year old child was hospitalised.
