Gardai are appealing for information about the death of a man whose body was found in the Royal Canal in Dublin.
The remains were recovered from the water at Ballybough Bridge, near the city centre at lunchtime yesterday.
The man's body has been removed to the city morgue where a post mortem will be carried out.
Gardai want to speak to anyone who saw anything unusual in the area to contact Mountjoy Garda station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda station.
