The suspected 'Shebeen' in Athy was searched by Gardaí at around 8pm yesterday evening.
They became aware of the premises that was operating contrary to licensing laws and COVID-19 rules via social media.
During the search, Gardaí found a fully fitted bar with stools, tables, chairs, a 70 inch flat-screen TV and a full-size pool table.
There were several beer taps on the bar, along with an underbar cooler and kegs.
There was also a smoking area, storeroom and toilet on the premises.
