The HSE has reached an agreement with manufacturer Vertex Pharmaceuticals.
As of next month, two drugs Orkambi and Kalydeco will be provided for cystic fibrosis patients.
The HSE and the manufacturers have made this agreement in principle, and now both sides just need to sign off on this.
