Ibrahim Halawa was released from prison overnight.
The Dubliner had been in custody for over 4 years, after he was arrested during a mass protest.
He was acquitted of all charges made against him over a month ago, after a long, drawn-out trial.

It's understood he had to spend a small amount of time in a police cell while his release was being processed.
It's not yet known when the 21-year-old will return to Ireland.
