A Garda investigation is underway after a three year old boy was stabbed to death at the Riverside apartment block in Dublin.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the Poddle Park area of Kimmage at around 7 o'clock yesterday evening.
A woman in her forties was taken to St James Hospital with knife wounds.

The scene remains sealed off this morning and forensic examinations are taking place.
