Man attacked in Ballyfermot.
So-called paedophile hunters are being told not to take the law into their own hands.
It comes as Gardaí investigate an alleged assault on a man in Ballyfermot in Dublin yesterday.
This man was allegedly attacked after being confronted by a vigilante group.
Gardaí say the actions of such groups are a cause of concern as they could encourage violence, and also affect future criminal proceedings.
