A teenaged girl has been treated in hospital in Kilkenny after she was assaulted this afternoon.
It happened in the Johnstown area shortly after midday, when she was approached then assaulted.
The girl was brought to St Luke's Hospital where she was treated for shock and minor injuries.
Her attacker has been described as a white man with an Irish accent who is in his 40s.
Gardaí have interviewed the teenager and they're combing the area for evidence and CCTV.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was on the R639 between Johnstown and Cullinane's Lane (AKA The Gallops) in Ballyspellan between 11am and 12:15pm today.
