A Maynooth University student who was seriously injured while walking back to her digs has been released from hospital.
18 year old Kym Owens suffered the injuries in the incident last November after she got off a bus from Co Monaghan.
There is still a mystery surrounding what happened, but had spend weeks in an induced coma in hospital, however she's now said to be recovering at home.
Gardai have been having difficulty going through CCTV footage because the night in particular was extremely foggy.
They're understood to be following a number of lines of investigation
