Leaving Cert students will not know what their options for third level are until September 11th, four days after calculated grades are issued.

Education Minister Norma Foley says the three week delay was necessary to ensure the integrity of the calculated grades system.
USI President, Lorna Fitzpatrick said the delay of the Leaving Certificate results announced last night is unfair on students hoping to start third-level in the autumn who have already faced so much change and uncertainty this year.
The CAO and UCAS have agreed to the new time line, meaning students looking to enrol in college here or in the UK have been catered for.
Students are also concerned about impact the delay will have on the hunt for accommodation.
Students need to log onto their student portal on Monday to confirm they still wish to receive a calculated grade.
