RTE has announced legendary commentator Jimmy Magee has died at the age of 82.
He joined RTE in 1956 and was ever present with the broadcaster for the next 60 years.

In his time, he was a commentator for 11 Olympic Games and 12 World Cups.
He most recently worked for the station covering the football at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
