He's charged with robbery at Lordship Credit Union in County Louth, eight years ago.
Brendan Treanor with an address at Emer Terrace, Castletown Road, Dundalk is also accused of conspiring with others to commit burglary within the State.

The Seargent said he made no reply when both charges were put to him after caution at Dundalk Garda Station at 10.30 am.
Brendan Treanor is charged with robbing €7,000 in cash and assorted checks at Lordship Credit Union, Bellurgan on January 25th 2013.
Also with conspiring with two named individuals and others between September 11th 2012 and January 23rd 2013 - both dates inclusive, to enter residential premises as trespassers with the intention of stealing keys of the household's motor vehicles.
Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe lost his life while taking part in an armed escort outside Lordship Credit Union that night.
The man who shot him from close range, 29-year-old Aaron Brady from Crossmaglen, Co Armagh, is serving a life sentence after being convicted of his murder last year.
Judge Has Remanded Him In Custody To Appear Again
Insp. Darren Kirwan said there would be an objection to bail.
He added the DPP has directed the defendant be sent forward on indictment.
However, the Defence solicitor informed the court they would not be applying for bail today.
That's as they were seeking to perfect a surety with a view to making the application on the next court appearance.
Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the 33 year old in custody to Cloverhill prison.
He is scheduled appear in person at Dundalk district court next Wednesday.
