Maroon 5's Super Bowl Half Time Show Hasn't Gone Down Well

Maroon 5's performance was distinctly average

It's fair to say that there wasn't too much fanfare when Maroon 5 were announced as the Super Bowl Half-Time show act.

Despite earworming songs and overall general popularity, there were fears that Adam Levine and co wouldn't suit the occasion.

Nonetheless, the decision was made so all there was to do was hope for the best.

Well, it didn't really happen for them:

It just sounded flat, and they tried to squeeze in too many songs in too short a time.

The Super Bowl act is one that puts on a show, a party you could say.

A number of years ago, Beyonce and Bruno Mars saved Coldplay's show, but there wasn't anyone on hand to do the same here.

Viewers took to Twitter with their opinions

'Maroon 5' is currently the 4th most trending topic topic on Twitter but it's for all the wrong reasons.

Travis Scott's performance was more successful

Travis Scott also appeared during last night's Half Time show alongside Big Boi, one half of Outkast.

Kylie Jenner shared a sweet video of a giggling Stormi watching her Dad on the TV.
