Crack a smile, it won't cost you. Well.. that's not exactly true anymore..
Payment giant Mastercard is introducing payments by smiling and waving at checkouts.
It's part of a 'biometric checkout programme' being rolled out worldwide for big and small retailers.
Customers signed up for the service will be asked to take a picture and scan their fingerprints on their mobile app.
The credit card will then be linked to your facial features and fingerprints to establish your biometric data.

Instead of the usual card tap, it'll involve a smile or a wave at the cash register.
The technology will first be trialled in Brazil before making its way to the Middle East and Asia.
Mastercard says the new technology will help speed up transactions, leading to shorter queues in stores.
There are some doubts by privacy experts about identity theft or fraud, but Mastercard ensures they've established security standards.
