Met Eireann is warning of heavy downpours
A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued by Met Eireann for seven counties, including Dublin, Kildare and Meath.
Longford, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan are also being warned of heavy downpours and spot flooding until 2 o'clock this afternoon.

More than 20 millimetres of rain fell in Dublin in just two hours this morning.
While the weather station at Dublin Airport saw more rainfall between 5 and 6am than it recorded for the whole month of May.
