FINALLY!
We knew for a long time that boxer Michael Conlan has been entering the professional ranks, after he signed a deal with the Top Rank promotional company in the latter end of last year.
We then learned the exciting news that his debut will be held in The Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York (what a setting for a debut!) on St Patrick's Day.
However, we now now who he'll face.
According to the Top Rank website, Conlan will go head to head with Tim Ibarra, who holds a 4-4 record:
There's now huge excitement gathering around the former amateur world champion's highly anticipated debut, with Paddy Barnes set to be on the undercard and Katie Taylor also fighting on the undercard to Gennady Golovkin the very next night.
