The name of the President's new puppy has been revealed.
The five month old Bernese Mountain Dog has been given the same "Misneach" which is the Irish word for courage.
🚨Message from the Áras: I can confirm that the President has a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy in training. He is 5 months old and, given the time we are in, the President has given him the name ‘Misneach’, which translates as Courage. 🥰

President Higgins was spotted in Phoenix Park at the weekend accompanied by Misneach and his other dog, Bród.
The dogs have been a long-time hit with the public and have often attended public events at the Áras - sometimes demanding belly rubs off President Higgins during work!
