The European Affairs Minister has expressed his deep concerns regarding a new Hungarian anti-LGBTQI+ law.
Thomas Byrne says the new legislation passed by the Hungarian Parliament on the 15th of June provides for restrictions on LGBTQI+ content in media.
He says there's also a de facto prohibition on talks on issues affecting them in schools and educational programmes.
Minister Byrne is asking the Hungarian government and parliament to reconsider this damaging legislation.
Back home Dublin Fire Brigade has unveiled a new Pride fire truck.
The fire appliance wrapped in pride colours is based at the HQ on Townsend Street and will be responding to emergency calls across the city centre.
