A new campaign to highlight the plight of homeless families at Christmas has been launched by Focus Ireland.
The charity says nearly 4,000 children are now homeless.
Sister Stan Kennedy, President of Focus Ireland, says successive governments have failed due to a lack of investment in social housing.
