A big bualadh bos to see the Nitelink back.
The Transport Minister confirmed last week the Nitelink will return tonight.
The late-night bus service will be in operation as normal for the easing of restrictions.
Nightclubs and gig venues will see full capacity return for the first time since March 2020.
Nitelink is operated by Dublin Bus and operates across 16 routes in the greater Dublin area.
✅ Good news that the #Nitelink bus service will return from Oct 22nd.
A really important transport service for those looking to enjoy Dublin's nightlife and those employed in the night time economy 🚍 @dublinbusnews pic.twitter.com/3xk2TXeiim— Emer Higgins TD (@EmerHigginsTD) October 19, 2021
On top of this, Dublin Bus themselves have made three services 24/7 over the past few months.
These include the 15 from Ballycullen Rd to Clongriffin, 39A UCD to Ongar and 41 Swords to Abbey St.
These services run at half an hour intervals through the night, thought they can often be full.
Minister Ryan says additional 24/7 services are planned as part of the BusConnects rollout.
Work is starting at a BusConnects interchange set to be built at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
