Students are getting off light today, but with a catch.
Irish school goers across the country won't have to do their homework today.
The news was announced by the Taoiseach as part of National Confidence Day.
It's an initiative by Starcamp, as they've showcased a special programme across classrooms today.
Taoiseach Michael Martin confirmed the news but said there is a caveat.

"I've been speaking to your teachers, and they're happy to let you off your homework for one day," he said.
All you have to do - is one kind deed instead of your homework."
"That could be looking out for a friend, looking after someone in your family."
"It's up to you to choose. So please, enjoy your day. Believe in yourself and your abilities."
