It's been a week of lasts for the Obama administration. Last Wednesday he delivered his final speech as US President at Grant Park in Chicago, the same place he held his victory speech in 2008.

After that, he took part in his final press conference at the White House, where he answered some light-hearted questions from the media and just last night, the outgoing US President welcomed the Chicago Cubs to the Oval Office. The team made history this year by winning the Baseball World Series for the first time in over a hundred years this summer.

Obama comes from Chicago and has been an avid Cubs fan over the past 8 years in office, but unfortunately never got the opportunity to welcome the team to the White House. The event was extremely cheerful and light-hearted, however there was an underlying sadness, because from Friday afternoon Barack Obama will no longer be the president of the United States and it still remains unclear as to what opinion Donald Trump will take on social and sporting issues.

Have a look at the full video of the press event below.
