The Department of Health has recorded 600 Covid 19 cases today.
64 patients are in hospital with the virus, of which 16 are in ICU.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan says tomorrow marks 500 days since the first case of Covid was reported in Ireland.
He added we have come a long way together and sacrificed much in our effort to limit the transmission of the disease.

Astra Zeneca Option For Younger People
Under-34s will be able to sign up for an AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine later this week.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says they'll be able to register for this jab on the HSE's online portal.
The doses will be administered in vaccine centres around the country.
Minister Donnelly says it's still preferable for 18 to 34 year olds to get an mRNA vaccine.
However, that won't be possible for several more weeks.
