More than 1.6 million passengers travelled through Dublin and Cork Airports over Christmas.
It marks a bounce back for travel numbers during the first festive period without Covid-19 restrictions in three years.
Figures obtained by the Irish Times shows 137,243 people made their way through Cork Airport between December 12th and January 5th.
That marks a 1% increase on travel numbers in 2019.
Meanwhile, Dublin Airport welcomed 1.48 million people through its gates between December 16th and January 4th.
It's 96%, so close to the same as, the travel figures from 2019.
This week, Ireland West Airport in Knock said they were at 89% of travel numbers from 2019.
722,000 used the airport in 2022, with that number expected to grow this year.
