Good news for park goers.
Dublin's Phoenix Park will undergo a number of structural changes to improve walking and cycling.
The green area will keep all gates open and fully accessible, bar the Cabra entrance.
The OPW held a consultation on the park, and they said they received over 2,200 responses.
The Phoenix Park is set to become more accessible and enjoyable for all visitors. Highlights include a 30kph speed limit, walking upgrades with Chesterfield Ave pedestrian crossings, 14km of new cycling routes, and a bus service linking Heuston and Broombridge stations.

59% of submissions were from people who use the park daily or several times a week.
Public transport access to the park will be vastly improved. 14km of new cycling routes will also be constructed.
One of the moves was to make the North Road a cul-de-sac, but instead it's going to be one-way between the Cabra gate and the Garda Headquarters.
The Phoenix Park, along with other parks in Dublin, seen a huge uptake in visitors due to lockdown restrictions.
