Private Sean Rooney's remains are being flown home to Ireland today. This afternoon a UN ceremony was held in his honour at Beirut Airport before his body was put on board an Irish Air Corps CASA aircraft to Dublin.
His family will be reunited with his remains at Casement Aerodrome at Baldonnel tomorrow morning.

Three separate investigations are now underway, by UNIFIL, Lebanese authorities and the Irish Defence Forces, to find out what exactly happened.
The Irish army has even flown out a team of experts to help as well as support his battalion.
Three of Sean's colleagues were also injured in the incident.
A 2nd peacekeeper, Shane Kearney, remains in critical condition in hospital with a head injury.
The remaining two have been treated for their injuries and are now safely back at Camp Shamrock.
