Rent prices in Dublin are now 20% higher than their peak in the Celtic Tiger.
The latest survey from Daft.ie shows the average price for a house to rent in the capital now stands at €1,700
That's much higher than the national average, which is up 12% at €1,159 and to compare to other cities, the average price of rent in Limerick is €919.
The report also suggests the number of properties available to rent has fallen to it's lowest level since records began.
