Reports have emerged surrounding OJ Simpson, that are claiming that he could be released from prison as early as October of this year.
Vanity Fair are reporting that a 'hearing will take place in July that will determine the decision' of whether or not he will be released from prison. According to CNN, Simpson has been serving a 9-to 33-year sentence, and this is the first year he will be up for release.
The former football player was acquitted of the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Rob Goldman in 1995. He is currently in jail for armed robbery and kidnapping. Simpson launched back into the public eye due to the FX series The People V OJ Simpson along with the documentary OJ: Made in America which won an Oscar. Simpson is now 69 years old.
According to TMZ, the reality TV industry are keen to sign him up for some shows. TMZ have reportedly contacted a range of TV companies and agents and there was mixed reactions to the idea of OJ appearing on TV. Some were on board and others were 'recoiling in disgust.'
