Plans are under way for a 15 million euro sea pool in Dublin City.
It would be located near the planned new whitewater rafting facility.
The proposal includes an outdoor swimming pool around 50 metres long on a floating platform on the river at Custom House Quay.
Dublin City Council will make a detailed presentation on the idea next week.

So It's As Simple As That!
Cllr Dermot Lacey explains what the development involves:
"Well I suppose essentially it's a swimming pool on the river Liffey that would be contained in a barge like structure."
"It's as simple as that."
"So it's where people can go for a swim, in the city, in clean, warm water."
