A burly kangaroo, whose buff physique made him a viral superstar, has died at the age of 12.
Roger - who was 6 foot 7 inches and weighed nearly 200 pounds - passed away on Saturday.
The kangaroo with bulging biceps could not defeat the aging process, suffering from a loss of vision and arthritis in later life.
There has been an outpouring of emotion from people across the world at the news of Roger's passing.
Singer Natalie Imbruglia called him "such a proud strong boy", while the Australian government's tourism agency described him as a "true icon."

Roger was a baby when his mother was killed by a passing car near Alice Springs in 2006 but his luck turned when Chris Barnes drove by and gave him a new home.
“Roger was our alpha male for many years, and he grew up to be a kangaroo that people all over the world have grown to love as much as we love him too" Barnes said.
