Pedestrians and cyclists are being asked to be safe this evening.
That's because a Snow and Ice Warning is active nationwide.
Traffic will be heavier than normal on the roads later on.
Communications manager at the RSA is Brian Farrell:
"You need to understand that A, it's going to take you longer to get home because the conditions are challenging."
"Whether you're a pedestrian, cyclist or driver."
"Secondly you're probably going to be facing additional traffic congestion, it'll be heavier."

Icy Roads And Footpaths
The RSA is reminding people that footpaths could be particularly icy.
Brian says glare from the sun could be an unexpected problem.
"It really is a case of four seasons in one day."
"You don't know what kind of challenging conditions you could be faced with."
"One of the things we do highlight at this time of year is the low sun on the horizon, it can be quite blinding."

It's Not The Day For An Umbrella
Met Eireann has also issued a yellow Wind Warning for Western Counties.
It's active until tomorrow evening.
Joanna Donnelly says the snow showers will start to die down eventually:
"Of course as the sun goes down and temperatures fall a little bit more you'll have an increased likelihood that the snow will last a little longer."
Who Turned The Lights Out?
Three thousand homes and businesses were without power this morning.
The ESB says the weather isn't impacting their repairs.
Therefore the power should be back to normal this evening.
