Ireland's international travel rules are ''anti-family'' according to Ryanair's Group CEO.
Digital Covid Certificates will be sent to those who are fully vaccinated from next week.
Ryanair's Michael O' Leary is calling on the government to remove the requirement for children under 18 to have a negative PCR test before flying home.
Under the proposals for the resumption of international travel on July 19th, children between the ages of ages 7 and 17 would need a negative PCR test prior to traveling home.
He says he wouldn't stop a family from flying if a child tests positive for Covid abroad:
"The science generally accepts that children under-18 may catch Covid but will generally be asymptomatic and won't suffer any serious illness," O'Leary said, adding, "It is an anti-family rule that Eamonn Ryan is presiding over, because he hasn't given any thought to it, and they don't have a clue how this system will operate."
Further information on the re-opening of travel is expected next week.
Cabinet also plans to discuss proposals for indoor dining's return on Tuesday - and the possible dates that it would be safe to do so.
Among the ideas is to only allow vaccinated people indoors and have proof of entry, similar to other EU countries and the Digital Covid Cert for international travel.
