Schools in counties under a red or orange weather warning have been advised to close tomorrow, as Storm Barra approaches.
Met Éireann has issued wind warnings have been issued for three counties so far - Clare, Cork and Kerry.
It's our orange wind warnings in place for Dublin, Limerick, Louth, Waterford, Galway, Mayo, Wexford, Wicklow and east Meath.
Significant Nature
In a statement, the Department of Education says schools in all those counties should close tomorrow.
That is down to the "significant nature" of the storm.
Gardaí are advising that all unnecessary travel should be avoided in the red and orange counties while the warnings are in place.
They said Limerick and Galway are also expected to go to 'status red' warning, while Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare are also likely to be 'severely impacted' by the storm tomorrow morning.

Flights Cancelled
Aer Lingus has cancelled its early morning services from Cork to Amsterdam and London Heathrow tomorrow due to Storm Barra.
Cork Airport is advising passengers intending to travel tomorrow to contact their airline.

Dublin Port
Dublin Port Company is closing public access to the Great South Wall and Bull Island Bridge tomorrow.
That's due to high winds and high tides caused by Storm Barra.
Great South Wall is closing from 8am to 6pm.
Bull Island Bridge is closing from 12.30 until 2.30pm.
