Well, this is just brilliant news of a Friday.
Have you ever taken a nap and felt like you shouldn't? You should be more productive? Start to feel a little bit guilty?
You shouldn't, because research has found a link between going for a little snooze and happiness.
However, a nap isn't one that goes on for hours on end. We're talking about genuine 30 minute power naps here.
Those who had a little doze for less than 30 minutes turned out to be happier than those who took longer naps or none at all.
The research from the University of Hertfordshire measured a participants happiness based on psychological questions they answered after the snooze.
On a 5 point scale, short nappers scored 3.67 in terms of happiness, with 3.52 for those who didn't take a nap, while those who took a long nap scored 3.44.
So, with this in mind, a compulsory 30 minute nap time in work? Yes please!
