The sea level around Dublin has been rising at a faster rate in recent years.
Researchers have been looking at sea level trends over 8 decades.
The overall trend shows increases of around 1.1 millimetre a year between 1953 and 2016.
They rose at a rate of 7 millimetres per year between 1997 and 2016.

The study finds the increase in Dublin is faster than expected.
The rise in Dublin's sea level is also double the rate of global sea level rises.
40% of the Irish population live within 5km of the coast.
Climate change experts believe global sea level height will increase by 1 metre by 2150.
