Lewd & aggressive behaviour
Rapper slowthai appeared at the NME Awards in London last night.
He bagged the awards for Hero Of The Year and Best Collaboration alongside Mura Masa.
However, the evening soon took a turn for the worse.
Many viewers were shocked at the 25-year-old's behaviour towards host Katherine Ryan.

The Northampton native invaded Ryan's personal space.
Among other comments he urged the comedian to smell his cologne and called her, "baby girl."
There was an incident at #NMEAwards2020 last night. British Rapper Slowthai, invaded host Katherine Ryan's space on stage and began making lewd & misogynist comments. Slowthai then began fighting with the audience. The amazing @Kathbum handled it like a pro, seemingly unphased. x pic.twitter.com/TdeV0lDHWI

Despite many people taking to Twitter with their disgust Ryan has assured fans that slowthai didn't make her feel uncomfortable.
In a tweet she wrote, 'He didn’t make me uncomfortable. This is why we need women in positions of power.'
'I knew he had lost from the moment he opened his mouth like any heckler coming up against a COMIC - not a woman - a COMIC.'
'I was operating 2/10. What a sweet boy. I defused it. Tonight was fun!'

Altercation with audience member
Unfortunately slowthai didn't stop there.
Just after he collected the Hero Of The Year award he thanked the audience for ruining his speech.
He dropped his microphone from the stage and walked away as the crowd booed.
An audience member then threw the mic back at him resulting in slowthai throwing a glass of champagne and jumping from the stage.
The two men attempted to fight but were both held back by security.
