The Spanish government looks also set to introduce free sanitary products in schools.
They will also pass measures to allow for sanitary items to be made available to the disadvantaged.
There will be a change to the price of sanitary pads and tampons too.
Provisions will be made to remove the VAT on the items in supermarkets.
