PIC VIA DUBLIN FIRE BRIGADE
Around 52 thousand homes and businesses across the country are facing a blackout this morning after Storm Doris caused havoc overnight.
Dublin is being hit with winds of up to 120 km/h and Met Eireann have issued an Orange Weather Warning until lunchtime today.
The weather is causing delays on Luas, the Dart and some Dublin Bus services
The Dublin Fire Brigade have been busy documenting their work throughout the night, dealing with the fallout from Doris.
Dozens of flights between Ireland and the UK have been cancelled today, while a number of ferry sailings and rail operations have been affected.
Motorists are being urged to take extreme care on the roads, as there are reports of fallen trees on several routes
