A taxi driver's been hospitalised after a man armed with a gun attacked him.
It happened in the early hours of this morning in Dublin's south inner city.
A man in his 20s has been arrested.

A taxi driver in his 30s was waiting on a pickup outside student accommodation.
A man pointed a gun at him, demanded money and then assaulted the taxi driver, hitting him in the face and body.
The suspect managed to take a number of things and fled the scene as Gardaí arrived.
He was followed on foot and arrested and the stolen items were recovered, along with the gun.
The taxi driver was taken to St. James' Hospital but his injuries are not belived to be life threatening.
The man was taken to Kevin Street Garda Station, where he remains.
