Tesco deliveries
There are fears other retailers could follow in Tesco's footsteps, as the supermarket continues its suspension of deliveries to parts of Tallaght.
The retailer pulled out of delivering groceries in April of this year, citing anti-social behaviour in the area.
Local representatives this week asked the company to review the decision.
Councillors suggested deliveries be carried out early in the morning.
In response, Tesco says it has taken the business decision to operate a reduced service in areas of West Tallaght.
It says it is "in order to protect the safety of our colleagues".
The company also says it's keeping the situation under review.
An Post recently suspended deliveries in the area, but the service has since resumed.
