Snapchat vs Insta stories is the tech equivalent of Tom & Jerry trying to outsmart each other. Insta stories have firmly overtaken Snapchat recently in terms of active users but this latest update might draw some of us back to snappin'. These new "creative tools" were released yesterday and we think they're the most sophisticated Snapchat update in a long time.
You can now attach website links to your snaps. Simply tap the paperclip icon and paste your link. This feature is available to all Snapchat users which trumps Instagram where only select accounts, with big followings, have been granted this permission. Linking straight to websites will be a very popular with brands and bloggers.
Sounding groggy after a heavy karaoke night? Need to entertain toddlers for an afternoon? Hate the sound of your own voice? Fear not! You can now change voices after you take a video with these options on the bottom left of the screen.
This feature is one Instagram could do with copying as their artistic options are limited at the moment. If you want to make your snaps more aesthetically pleasing (or tacky, we don't judge) try drawing with emojis! We see ourselves going overboard with this feature.
