The Stella in Rathmines has been named one of the most beautiful cinemas in the world.
The theatre came 16th in the list compiled by TimeOut magazine.

The publication praised cinema's "Gatsby-esque tszuj", noting its mosaic tiles, chandelier lighting and blush sofas as impressive features.
Dublin Film Festival Kicks Off Today
Unfortunately the impressive set up cannot be utilised in this year's Dublin International Film Festival, which get's underway today.
Thousands of tickets have been sold for this year's virtual event including features, documentaries, shorts and special events.
Festival Director Grainne Humphreys says there are some benefits of moving the event online.
She says attendees can see "almost every film" of the festival, which would be impossible if the event was happening in person.

Meanwhile emerging actor Hazel Doupe has been nominated for the discovery award.
She says it will be an exciting 12 days.
