Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Weather Warning for Leinster, Munster, Cavan and Monaghan.
They're predicting heavy rain for the rest of the day and tonight, with totals of 25 to 35mm. The warning is in place until 3am tomorrow, Thursday.
In Dublin, there'll be persistent, heavy rain but it will start to clear overnight and the cloud will break up.
Thursday is set to be a lot nicer with dry weather and sunny spells. However, do expect a few scattered showers, especially in the early evening.
