Social media app TikTok has rolled out a stories feature to more users today.
Some launching the platform are greeted with a banner to encourage them to create a story.
TikTok says it's a pilot test and hasn't committed to a full expansion of the feature.
Posting a story works in the same way as posting photos or videos on the site.
The social media company is experimenting a with snap-chat style stories feature which comes on stream today.
Users can add a video or photo which works similar to the TikTok's standard feature of video and photo taking.
Unlike other features stories will not show up directly on your profile or feed and disappear within 24 hours.
