Good news for lonely hearts today - it's officially the busiest day of the year on dating apps.
Users flock to apps like Tinder, Bumble, and PlentyOfFish on the first Sunday of the new year, with activity shooting up by as much as 20 per cent.
Tinder say that the first Sunday of the New Year is known as 'Dating Sunday.'
This day last year, the app saw a 26 per cent global increase in matches made, and a 41 per cent global increase in downloads.
In addition, there was a 27 per cent global increase in conversations started compared to the previous week.
