Stargazers are in for a treat tonight and tomorrow night.
So that's as a major meteor shower in the skies reaches its peak.
The so-called Perseid shower is known for a large proportion of Fireballs which are extremely bright meteors.
The Best Display Since 2015
David Moore, Editor of Astronomy Ireland Magazine, says it'll be the best display in six years:
"We expect to see 20x more shooting stars than normal."
"The moon is out of the way too this year."
"So anyone with really dark skies, away from towns and cities, they'll get the best show since 2015."
