Twitter's joined Facebook in taking action against Russia, as it continues its invasion of Ukraine.
It's temporarily pausing advertising in both countries.
Meta - the parent company of Facebook - announced it was barring Russian state media from running ads on its platforms.
This comes as the invasion of Ukraine continues, the Ukrainians are bitterly resisting the Russian forces and the fighting has intensified.
The block means that Russian state media cannot run ads or monetize content on either Facebook or Twitter.
Russia and Putin have become increasingly isolated in terms of state support from other countries.
