The British Prime Minister has announced she will call a surprise General Election.
In an announcement made outside Downing Street this afternoon, Theresa May says an election is needed especially with the prospect of Brexit looming.
She said she only recently came to this conclusion, after initially saying there won't be another vote until 2020.
The PM says the election will be held on the 8th of June, if it's voted for by Parliament.
