Vinyl display launched in the Docklands
21 of the world's best known albums recorded in Dublin have gone on permanent vinyl display outside the original Windmill Lane Studios.
Album covers from artists like U2, Kate Bush and Def Leppard are included in the vinyl walkway, which will be lit up at night.
It's been unveiled at Windmill Quarter in the docklands, which used to be home to the world famous recording studios before they moved to Ringsend.
Commenting on the album installations James Morris, the founder of Windmill Lane Recording Studios said:
“This commemorates not just the musical heritage of Windmill Lane but also celebrates the extraordinary talent of those in Windmill."
"It is appropriate that all the musicians and artists who worked here will be permanently remembered through the artwork of their album covers in Windmill Lane.”
